# TRS Health

> 501(c)(3) nonprofit primary care clinic in Houston, Texas serving uninsured, underinsured, and self-pay patients. Two locations (Stafford and Aldine), $50 primary care visits, mental health services, on-site labs, pharmacy, ultrasound, fibroscan, and partner imaging at affordable cash-pay rates. Most insurance accepted; insurance never required.

TRS Health (The Rising Sun Health) was founded in 2018 with a single mission: provide affordable, high-quality primary care to every Houstonian regardless of income or insurance status. Our flat $50 self-pay rate covers a primary care visit with a licensed physician or nurse practitioner — same physicians, same exam rooms, same care whether or not you carry insurance. For patients who cannot afford $50, sliding-scale rates are available so no one is turned away. Operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, TRS Health has served 21,000+ patients and is supported by individual donations and community partnerships.
