TRS Health is a non-profit clinic making affordable healthcare accessible to the uninsured in Greater Houston. Our clinic offers primary care, mental health, labs, imaging and pharmacy services on-site. We also provide our patients access to affordable specialized care through exclusive partnerships with specialists and facilities in the area.

Imran Chunawala - RN

Director of Clinical Operations

Imran graduated Summa Cum Laude from UT Health San Antonio with a degree in nursing. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He is passionate about clinical research and bringing novel drug therapies to underserved populations.

Sayyed Farhan Ali Jaffri, MD

Internal Medicine, Medical Director

Dr. Jaffri graduated from Sindh Medical College in 2002 and finished his residency from Texas Tech University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. He treats common illnesses and infections and can help manage chronic diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension that are risk factors for stroke and heart attack. He also practices preventative medicine and weight loss promotion.

Raza Mustafa Zaidi, MD

Psychiatry

Dr. Mustafa Zaidi graduated with an M.B.B.S. from Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan and completed his residency in psychiatry from John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Zaidi is Board Certified in Psychiatry. His focus is on mental health and substance abuse.

Hamza Aziz, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. Hamza Aziz earned his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University. Dr. Aziz completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Aziz is active in volunteer work for the MLK Free Clinic and the American Red Cross.

Fakhar Zaidi, MD

Internal Medicine

Dr. Zaidi graduated with a medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He also holds a Masters Degree in Health Administration from University of Texas – Arlington. Dr. Zaidi completed his Internal Medicine residency at Central Michigan University. His focus is diabetes research and education.

Haroon Waseem, Pharm D

Director of Administration

Haroon graduated with a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Xavier University and completed his residency in community pharmacy from University of Houston. He is dedicated to finding ways to lower the cost of healthcare and tackle healthcare disparities.

Executive Director

Shaida Hussain is a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist with a passion and experience in international humanitarian work. He has been involved in many charitable and social projects. He has helped build freshwater wells, clinics and schools across the globe.

Parvez Bhayani

Director of Finance

Parvez Bhayani graduated with a BA in Finance from the University of Houston. He is passionate about helping fellow human beings by finding innovative methods to lower healthcare costs.

Raza Abbas Rizvi

Director of Marketing

Abbas Rizvi graduated from Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. He owns Lab Test Diagnostics where he works tirelessly to find novel methods to reduce the cost of lab services.
