Immunizations, also known as vaccinations, help protect both children and adults from infectious diseases. They are most commonly given via a shot and assist in reducing the spread of disease. In most cases, immunizations contain a small amount of a weakened or dead form of a disease-causing organism. While this is not enough to give the vaccinated person the disease, it does cause the immune system to produce antibodies that will recognize and attack the disease-causing organism if the vaccinated person is ever exposed. In addition, some immunizations require only one dose, while others require a number of doses given over time.

Immunizations like flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines help protect you from diseases and reduce the spread of disease. They are often required by schools, employers, and for those planning to travel out of the country.

Flu Shots

As cold and flu season approaches, one of the most important measures you can take to keep yourself and those around you protected is opting for an annual flu vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

We offer Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses for all patients ages 12 and over and booster doses for all eligible patients. We offer Pfizer Pediatric vaccines for children 5-11 years of age. We also offer Moderna COVID-19 vaccination doses to all patients ages 18 and over.

Uninsured Children Vaccines

We offer free vaccinations to uninsured children under the Texas Vaccines for Children program. If your child is uninsured and requires vaccinations, schedule a visit with us. All pediatric vaccines are available.
